The summit of Monte Brè is open to everyone

We firmly believe in inclusivity and have implemented dedicated solutions to ensure a barrier-free experience for people with disabilities.

If you need technical details or if you are an accompanying person and wish to plan the visit effectively, we are at your complete disposal with all the necessary support.

Information on accessibility

  • Two elevators have been installed at the departure and arrival stations of the Suvigliana–Monte Brè section to allow access for people with disabilities. Access is possible via the Eurokey.
  • The funicular is wheelchair accessible in a dedicated compartment with a surface area of 2 x 2.2 meters.

  • The Osteria Funicolare is easily reachable from the Monte Brè arrival station.

  • The ticket for the accompanying person is free of charge.

  • All intermediate stations on the route are not accessible.

  • The Cassarate – Suvigliana section is not accessible: transport by minibus is available (advance notice required at T. 058 866 75 66).
