MTB and e-MTB Rental

Thanks to a partnership with the TCS Lugano Group, a mountain bike rental service is available at the Monte Brè Funicular’s ​​summit station—an ideal way to explore the area on two wheels. The fleet includes 12 traditional mountain bikes and 6 pedal-assist e-MTBs.

Should you need to recharge, the nearest charging station to the funicular is located in the village of Brè (Brè Paese) and is provided by the Lugano tourism board. Additional charging stations can be found along the area’s main routes. Half-day (Adults)

Standard mountain bikes:
• 8 Mountain bikes, size M (height 167–183 cm)
• 4 Mountain bikes, size S (height 157–173 cm)

Electric mountain bikes (e-MTBs):
• 2 e-MTBs, size L (height 177–190 cm)
• 2 e-MTBs, size M (height 167–183 cm)
• 2 e-MTBs, size S (height 157–173 cm)

NOTE: Standard MTBs are generally not suitable for children under 14. For e-MTBs, a moped license is required for ages 14–15; no license is required from age 16 onwards.
