The system, installed on the roofs of the Osteria Funicular restaurant and the summit station has 107 photovoltaic modules and covers an area of over 200 square metres.

Thanks to the electricity produced, the system in the second section is entirely supplied with solar energy. With the surplus energy produced, the electrical grid can also be supplied.

This project is part of the measures implemented and recognized by the Swiss tourism sustainability program #swisstainable, which has a key role in the future development and positioning of Switzerland as a tourist destination.
