This itinerary is ideal for those who want to experience the special features of the area surrounding the village of Brè, while also enjoying some panoramic views at high altitude. The route winds from the summit of Monte Brè and continues on a 15-20 minute walk to the centre of Brè. Along this stretch, you’ll be able to fully appreciate the fantastic views of the Gulf of Lugano.

After enjoying the artistic décor of the village, head up a dirt road immersed in the woods, which will lead you to Carbonera. At this point, you can stop for refreshments at the fountain, before embarking on the last stretch of the ascent that leads to the Crus viewpoint, at a good 1066 m. Finally, the last leg of the route continues along the descent that rejoins the village of Brè, where you can admire the views from the east this time.
